Intal Uses:
Intal contains the antiasthmatic/antiallergic medication cromolyn sodium.
Different forms of the drug are used to manage bronchial asthma, to prevent asthma attacks, and to prevent and treat seasonal and chronic allergies.
Intal Dosage:
Adults and Children 2 years Old and Over For management of bronchial asthma, the usual dosage Intal is 20 mg (1 capsule or ampule) inhaled 4 times daily at regular intervals, using the Spinhaler turbo-inhaler or power-operated nebulizer. If you have chronic asthma, this drug's effectiveness depends on your taking it regularly, as directed, and only after an attack has been controlled and you can inhale adequately.
Intal Contraindications :
If you are sensitive to or have ever had an allergic reaction to cromolyn sodium or lactose, you should not take this medication. Make sure your doctor is aware of any drug reactions you have experienced.

Take Intal as soon as you remember. Then take the rest of that day's doses at equally spaced intervals. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Store Intal at room temperature, away from light and heat. Keep the ampules in their foil pouch until you are ready to use them.
