You should not use this medicine if you have ever had an allergic reaction to pseudoephedrine
Uses:
Long Acting Capsule, Long Acting Tablet, Tablet
Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to take and how often.
Read label directions carefully. Avoid taking at bedtime; this medicine may make you restless.
Swallow the capsule or tablet whole. Do not crush, chew, or break.
If a dose is missed:
Take your medicine as soon as you remember that you have missed your dose.
If it has been more than 1 hour since the time you were scheduled to take your medicine, wait until your next dose and skip the missed dose.
You should not use two doses at one time.
Storage:
Keep your medicine at room temperature, away from heat, light, and moisture. Do not freeze.
Keep all medicine away from children.
Special precautions:
Before taking, tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to any medications. tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking. tell your doctor if you have or have ever had heart failure or liver disease. tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking, call your doctor
You should not use pseudoephedrine with cocaine, monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors (Parnate®, Marplan®, Eldepryl®).
Warnings:
Check with your doctor before taking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate, or an overactive thyroid.
You should not use this medicine for more than 7 days unless ordered by a doctor.
If you do not get better after taking this medicine for 7 days, or if you have a fever, talk to your doctor.
