You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to pemoline
Uses:
Tablet, Chewable Tablet
Take this medicine exactly as your doctor ordered.
To avoid trouble sleeping, take pemoline in the morning (unless your doctor tells you differently).
May be taken with or without food.
The chewable tablets have to be chewed before you swallow them. Do not swallow whole.
If a dose is missed:
Take the missed dose as soon as possible.
If you do not remember until the next day, skip the missed dose and take your medicine at your usual times.
You should not use two doses at the same time.
Storage:
Store at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

Special precautions:
Before taking, tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to any medications. tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking. tell your doctor if you have or have ever had heart failure or liver disease. tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking, call your doctor
Warnings:
Check with your doctor before taking this medicine if you have Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy (seizures), depression or anxiety problems, or kidney or liver disease.
Pemoline may be habit-forming. You may have withdrawal symptoms, such as stomach pain, trembling, depressed mood, weakness, tiredness, and anxiety, after you stop taking pemoline.
Do not suddenly stop taking this medicine, because you may need to take smaller and smaller doses before completely stopping the medicine.
Talk with your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
This medicine may make you dizzy or give you a sense of well-being (make you high). Be careful when driving a car or using machinery.
