Your doctor will tell you when to get your shots.
You may need to get your shots in your doctor's office, or they may be given to you by a home care nurse or someone who has been trained to give you your shot.
If a dose is missed:
Call your doctor to reschedule your appointment.
If you are getting your shots at home, get your shot as soon as you remember, and then return to your regular schedule.
You should not use two doses at the same time.
Storage:
Store this medicine at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
Keep all medicine out of the reach of children.
Special precautions:
Before taking, tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to any medications. tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking. tell your doctor if you have or have ever had heart failure or liver disease. tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking, call your doctor
Ask your doctor for special diet instructions.
You should not use folic acid vitamin supplements unless your doctor tells you differently.
