Betamethasone/Clotrimazole (Topical)
Treats athlete's foot, ringworm, and other fungus infections.

Contraindications:
You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to clotrimazole or similar drugs, such as butoconazole (Femstat®), miconazole (Monistat®), econazole (Spectazole®), or ketoconazole (Nizoril®). Also avoid using the medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to betamethasone or medicines such as hydrocortisone (Hytone®), fluocinonide (Lidex®), triamcinolone (Aristocort®).
Uses:
Cream, Lotion

Your doctor will tell you how much of this medicine to use and how often. Do not use more medicine or use it more often than your doctor tells you to.

For use on the skin only.

Shake the bottle of lotionwell just before using.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area. Rub in gently.

Do not cover with bandages unless your doctor tells you to.
If a dose is missed:

Apply the missed dose as soon as possible.

Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next regular dose.

Do not use extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.
Storage:

Store at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Do not freeze. Store the lotion bottle upright, not laying on its side.

Keep all medicine out of the reach of children.
Special precautions:
Before taking, tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to any medications. tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking. tell your doctor if you have or have ever had heart failure or liver disease. tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking, call your doctor

Unless approved by your doctor, do not mix or use other skin medicines with this medicine.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor before taking the medicine

Make sure your doctor knows if you have an infection of the skin such as herpes, chickenpox, or tuberculosis.

Do not apply in or around the eyes.

Do not apply this medicine to your face or neck unless your doctor told you to do so.
Side Effects:
Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:

Severe itching, burning, or skin irritation

Signs of infection such as redness, swelling, drainage, or pus

Mild, temporary stinging

Irritation, burning, redness, peeling, or blistering of skin

Numbness or tingling at site of application
